 Don't remember where the head came from, I think the CLA show some years ago. It is about 5 1/2" the haft is Maple overall 15 3/4".

I like those with a flat handle and a ball at the end. Cool look and good for actual use as a hatchet.

Very beautiful in its simplicity. I guess you can’t make a ball handle like that from a standard handle blank?

 The handle started out as a piece of scrap, I cut it rectangular and went from there.
