Rock Island Auction LOT #3104
« on: August 03, 2021, 05:35:05 PM »
The 1813 dated Pattern Musket in the attached link for Lot 3104, is the only one that has survived outside of the Springfield Armory NHS Collection.

It is important because its stock features were incorporated into the Model 1812 and the lock features were used in the Model 1816.

I've also attached a link to Springfield Armory NHS for the example in their collection and the Harpers Ferry example in their collection.
