A second horn I picked up, a very simple horn with a sculptured tip and a simple pine plug. No strap attachments provided so I guess was a pouch/pocket horn. Fourteen inches along the curve. The plug has harden sap on it. Wood was green when made or horn was stored near a heat source. All in all, a neat horn.

I've read somewhere years ago that many horns were pickled ( protected them from insects I suppose) and as a result often had a greenish tint. My daughters horn is a original with a green tint.
