Screw-Tip Horn
« on: August 09, 2021, 03:41:42 PM »
This is a long horn at 17 1/2" but is very slender. The idea for the butt came from the cover of "Bone Tipped & Banded Horns by Dr. Hopkins.  It is Walnut about 3" X 2 1/2, held in place by 3 steel pins. The two part horn tip is almost 4" long and is threaded 5/8-11 as are the collar and horn. Color is AF with Brown shoe polish.

Tim; it not possible to make the CLA show this year but I am going to be there next year come $#*! or high water. One of the main reasons is to see your table full of horns. Going to have to bring a pocket of cash with me, as I am not leaving without one or two.
