Powderhorn strap

Made this powderhorn strap for a PA customer.
Made from barktan deer hide, backed up with pillow ticking and decorated with poney beads, quill and horse hair tassels

Looks great.  Why do u trim the deer hair?  Why not leave it natural looking?
