New Axe by Bart Review!
« on: August 15, 2021, 05:47:12 PM »
Hello,

I recently purchased a very nice belt axe by Bart Dellinger from this site.

Immediately after receiving it and handling it, I knew this was a custom tool.

The size of the axe, the balance, the fit and finish, the handle all prove that this was not something thrown together, but rather well designed and crafted.

The axe also came with a custom leather sheath.

If you are looking for a quality axe, I would recommend Bart's work.

Thanks for looking.

Regards,

Doug

Great looking Axe Doug. Im lucky enough to own a axe Bart forged for me back early in this yr. He makes them to use as well as just plain purty to look at.
Nothing beats the feel of a handmade southern iron mounted flintlock on a cold frosty morning

It does indeed look nice. What kind of steel do you use?

I do in fact use 4140 for axe heads as well as for making drifts and other tools.
