Many pieces I have to show!
« on: August 23, 2021, 03:18:39 AM »
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any work so here are some of my pieces as of recent. The dagger was quite the project despite its size because I fluted the horn handle by hand. It is fitted completely in nickel silver. That’s my first time trying that. The big turned handle knife has curly hickory as the handle with a brass ferrule and iron endcap. The smaller knife is full tang with curly maple and poured pewter bolster. The small clip pointed knife has a turned cherry handle with an iron guard and brass ferrule.

Not sure the exact amount of time, but it was indeed a lengthy process.

Those are quite a step above most of what I've seen in a while.  Yes, that dagger is something else.

I like all the blades that you posted in this thread, and in previous ones. Just curious, but what is the longest blade that you can forge?

That fluted spiral handle dagger is really impressive in person.  Really nicely done.

That small one with the curly handle is right up my alley.

Thanks for sharing sir.   God Bless,  Marc

Robert,  Great work! I have to agree with Dennis and Marc. Spend to long looking at them or getting to close and the knives just seem to attach to you. I should know, it's happened twice to me.
