Graeff rifle RCA #72 revised
« on: August 26, 2021, 03:40:19 PM »
I'm pretty sure most Forum members are very familiar with RCA #72 signed by one of the Graeff brothers, John or Jacob. This rifle also appears and is described in detail on pages 28 to 30 of Moller's second volume. I believe this rifle now resides in the NRA Museum.

My reason for this post is to get some educated opinions, observations, as opposed to my basic knowledge of these rifles, on this Graeff marked rifle.

My interest at this juncture is purely personal because of a family connection to the Graeff brothers. I am putting together something to be posted on the ALR, and not published commercially, but do not wish to look any dumber than I normally do.

If you wish to contact me by PM rather than posting a reply, that would be great. You will not be quoted by me in the posting.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Does anybody recognize this supposed Graeff rifle?
