Unless you can do the rebore, breeching, drum & nipple installation & alignment BY Yourself, Just buy another barrel.
If you have to Pay to get it done, you will have $150. in it by the time you ship parts in & out & barrel out & back, etc. Just a few yrs ago they were selling those Tradition Kits for $105. In fact, I just saw one 2 weeks ago on that 1000 mile yard sale thingy. No interest to me but shocked me to see one around. That would have been a good barrel for ya.
Buy another barrel & then tear this one apart & learn while doing so. You may tear it apart & see inside & be glad ya DID tear it apart. Besides, the Real way to learn something like this is do it yourself. Books are great, but nothing beats Hand On Doing It.
You will find that most of those barrels are not just toss it in interchangeable. They make them different so you have to buy another barrel to make them fit correctly. Dif thickness. Drum dif, nipple dif angle & size, dif breechplug, dif underlugs & them in dif places, & etc. The Mfg. doesn't want you to interchange them, they want you to buy a new barrel or another gun. That is why I said to make sure the barrel is for your Model rifle, not just the brand. Otherwise you may have to do some work to make it fit.
