Tapered barrels

Does anyone make a 34-36" barrel that tapers from 1" to about 7/8 or 15/16-13/16?   Or there abouts....

I know of some who will make you anything you want but the backlogs are too long for me.

 I see Track has Hawken style breech plugs again.  A lighter rifle may be fun to make.

Rice lists 1" tapered to 7/8" on their website.
I'm sure Hoyt can do that as well. Probably FCI too.

Bobby Hoyt is making me a .32 15/16" tapered barrel for a light full stock Hawken I am going to build.

You might give Matt Avance at TVM a call and ask what he has in the stash. I was able to get (2)36”x54 tapered barrels that are old stock Richard Smith (H&H tooling) from him.

I have two for consideration. Neither are exact but if you are Building the rifle, either could be made to work.
I don't see the Caliber you want, but here they are.

I have a  Rice  taper barrel in .58 cal. Breech is 1.055" and at 34" length it is .815". Straight Rifled. Flared Tang.
This barrel is 40" long but can very easily be cut & crowned. (Stamped Custom @ breech)

Also a Rice taper barrel in .45 cal. Breech is 7/"8 taper to .800" at 34" length. Round bottom rifled. 3" Straight tang.
This barrel is 42" long but can very easily be cut & crowned.

Charles at FCI made me a 38" tapered barrel that shoots very well and balances wonderfully.  Might be worth the wait to get just what you want...
