guido. Sir; Outstanding Antelope. Picture #3 says it all for that day. When I lived in Cheyenne an occasional yearly meal including Antelope was enjoyed by all. Have a great weekend. AJ.

Any antelope regardless of size is a true trophy with a flintlock. Add to that these would be fine trophies with a centerfire. Well done, well done.

Congratulations and well done!

I would recommend rough scoring those two bucks you might be surprised. If they're close then have them scored professionally to see if they make the Longhunter record book. They're not Boone and Crockett but very nice. I put one in the book almost 30 years ago with a flintlock and had no idea how big it was until I checked.

Good job Uncle guido!! 8) Wy is a great place. More cattle than people. I had such a good time there,I had to stop and buy a new pair of boots. Again, good hunt and keeping the “old ways “alive. :)

Congratulations, Pronghorns are Americas most exotic animal. I can see that the base of your bucks horn has at least six  maybe seven inches of circumference and that is one of the most important measurements when scoring them. Great hunt!

That is what I was thinking Keith.  You never seen them near trees.  Congratulations to both of you.  Impressive to get a speed-goat, but to get one with a flintlock deserves high praise.  Two?  Doubly impressive.  God Bless,   Marc

I wrote "A Utah Pronghorn Hunt" for the Nov/Dec 2019 issue of Muzzleloader magazine.  In it I describe a buck antelope going into the cottonwoods along the Green River.  The understory was somewhat brushy, and I did not think the buck would have gone in there, but he must have.  There is also the matter of antelope and fences.  I saw antelope go through fences in Browns Park, Colorado.  I think i saw them run at the fence and dive under the bottom barbed wire, but that was 37 years ago, and they may have jumped that fence.
