Latest Horn Painted By Carla
« on: September 25, 2021, 04:28:44 PM »
Carla wanted to try some bigger flowers this time and this is how it came out, I think she has outdone herself with this one.
This is a large horn but slender, 20" around the outside curve, tip-to-tip it is about 15. The Cherry butt is about 2 1/2". The tip is horn it is made up of 4 pieces the 2 rings are pinned on to the two part tip, to get the length I threaded 2 pieces of horn together, it is also threaded and screws on to the horn itself, then It was pinned. The horn itself is based on this horn:

Fantastic!  Takes a serious eye for design to apply the painted floral pattern across a curving three-dimensional space and have it flow so perfectly - you both be very talented.

That’s nice. I can see those being sought after
All over the place. For using, for showing off on the wall
And for cultural exhibits in displays and museums. Very
very nice.

Another wonderful collaboration between you two.  That is some horn you created, and Carla's art only adds to the work.  You need to tell folks whether this one is sold already or not.  If it isn't, it'll go quick.   Best wishes, and give Carla my best,    Marc
