I like it .   It looks like you could have found it in an 18th C bag that was hanging in an old cabin  :)

That's as cool as the day is long, in my opinion. Extremely folksy!

Really Koo L! Great thinking on the design, don't think there is anything wrong with the carving.

If you're really that dissatisfied with it let me know what you want for it and I will proudly hang it from one of my bags.

Love it. Great concept, well executed.
Just the right blend of realism and folk art.
Not folksy enough to seem "cheesy" or lazy, and not high art realism enough to seem impractical.

Love it!  Working the attachment ring into the hand like that… pure genius.  Looking forward to the final kit.

Hey Tim, I know what that measure is going to be for. It is a perfect fit for the gator pouch. How many grains will it hold ?
Kind Regards
Frank

This reminds me of when Tim made the "snake" horn that lives at my house.  He didn't think it came out like he wanted, but it is one of my all-time favorite horns.  This measure is wonderful.  The right balance of art, whimsy, and function.  Most excellent.  God Bless,   Marc

looks great Tim.  A gator bag huh.  I can't wait to see it.  It's not so unusual, we feed tourist to the gators all the time down this way.  James Levy

Yeah, but you set a new bar for "cool".  Sort of like Steve McQueen.

I like your measure very much. It has that native American effigy look to it. Perhaps a traded item.
