I built a flintlock Bedford a few years ago and in my research I found no references as to barrel profiles. I was able to measure many flintlock barrel muzzle diameters from good quality photographs and using the given barrel lengths calculated the barrel diameters. I was surprised to learn how "substantial" they were. They fell in the range of just over 7/8" to just under 1-1/16". Without knowing what profiles flint Bedfords had, I think I would choose one with very little swamp or perhaps a slight straight taper. The barrel I used was a straight 15/16" actf and 44" long.
