What Kind of Lock?
« on: October 31, 2021, 10:16:41 PM »
What kind of caplock mechanism am I seeing here on this rifle?
Is this something handmade or from available parts?
A friend broke a spring yesterday.  I have not looked at this rifle in person.

The mechanism is called a boxlock.  This looks like a custom rifle using a Mowrey boxlock action.
