Another Little Horn Box
« on: December 31, 2021, 12:17:34 AM »
I took these before I finished it up, without thinking I packed it and it's ready to go. No color on this one it's going to get some carving on it. Not the best Pix.

Tim, how thin could you make one of these with a side opening?

How thin are you taking total thickness or the width of the opening, thinner than this? The thickness of the horn itself will be reduced to probably half of what it is in the Pic. I've never had to make on thinner but it could be done I'm sure. Not sure what you mean by "side opening", like the one below?

Yes, the opening like the second picture. I'm looking for as thin as can be, but still be useful. Wanting it for a little box for patches.

I have the box in the pictures and it works great for patches. Mine are pre-greased but would work fine with dry patches also. The thickness as shown works fine one is for 40 caliber and the other is for 54 caliber.
