I just finished this fringed bag.

I just finished this 9" X7" veg tanned fringed bag. It has a full sized inner pocket that creates the fringed welt and a gusseted front pocket also has a small internal pocket. I used a C.J. Wilde hand spun, woven wool strap with John Rader hand forged rings and attached horn strap.

Dave, you are a busy man. That is another great bag. Even if it had no whiskers, it would be just as nice. Nice horn too.

Took me a minute. I was trying to dope out why this looked familiar. Then I realized I had seen it on The Hunting Pouch page on fb. I like to scroll through there and look at all the bags people make.

You do great work Dave.

Nicely done Dave. A pretty bag.  One thought for you - I would suggest calling that a fringed bag. The ones I have seen called “bearded” have the flap or body entirely covered in fringe.  Or both. God bless, Marc

Yes, I agree with Marc on both counts. Nice bag work for sure. And also that generally a "Bearded Bag" is one made with a fully fringed front panel, a fully fringed flap, or even both.
