Bag for E.Tenn Squirrel rifle
« on: March 01, 2022, 07:21:09 AM »
This diminutive bag was patterned after the little bag with the Gross rifle. Eric VanAlstine made it and did it up a little nicer. Tim Crosby made the little horn( it’s about 8” long”. I forged the patch knife.

I like that. A small bore rifle should be right at home with accoutrements just big enough to get the job done.

I love it. I would be proud to have that hanging with my .32 or my .36

Really nice bag and horn.  Nice set!  Will look great with the rifle.

Keith : yep,the horn is in the way.  There is no closure on the flap and I like the weight of the horn helping to keep it shut. You have to reach under the horn and pull the flap up.  It’s a trade off.
