Considering the weather we've been having, I thought I'd add to my winter arsenal.
Heavy wool blanketing gauntlet style along with brain tanned buckskin with wool
Should help !

Still a mite cool, Bob? We're having balmy weather - up over freezing even.
Nice KIT.

Minus 22 last night, and a high of minus 12. More snow today and tomorrow. We have a good 3 feet in the woods. The weather is supposed to moderate next week.

I saw a pair of 19th Century issued Army mittens once. They looked like oven mits.
