After a a horn on pages 252-253 of Dr. Jay Hopkins' latest book "Bone Tipped & Banded Horns Pt II".
It's about 12" around the outside curve and 10 tip-to-tip. The butt is Maple held in by 4 wooden pegs, it is 2 1/8" in diameter. The tip is made up of w pieces of antler pegged together wit 3 pegs and to the horn with 3 more. The band is secured with 3 iron pins, there are 2 ghost rings.
