Well Lex, I was there and sorry that I missed you. As to shining things up a bit. I have found that chrome plating gives a lifelong shine that simply can't be beat. Gold or silver plating is nice but, pricey. Suggest that you book JTR right now while his offer is open. He can get busy real fast, especially when those old ones show up.
Jim, thank you for your approving comments! Much appreciated. It will eventually pass through your neck of the woods, but have no idea when that might be. If it drops off in KC feel free to gather it up for a spell.

No, I better wait on the chrome plating. Every antique gun in Montana was used at the Little Bighorn and I don't remember any mention of any of them being chromed.

Well, would you believe that I still don't have this thing in my hands. What do they say, 'anticipation heightens the occasion'. If I don't get it soon I won't even remember that I bought it, never mind the excitement.'
