Look this one over. It's a photo from the Kentucky Rifle Foundation's CD on Bucks County Rifles.

I believe that photo has a copyright.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

The second-to-last on the right is also a bit shorter than the rest, as is the 4th from right, I think. Looks like Shuler just eyeballed it....

Hi Terry.....never counted the hinges....was more concerned w/ the length of the Pboxes seeing the LOPs {13-3/4"} on my BCs were longer than the originals but  my Pboxes still had to look like their  locations were similar to the originals. Shown below  are 2  of my Pboxes  which fit the buttstock nicely....Fred

Not a Shuler, but made by George Weiker, so maybe, maybe not the same.
This hinge has 7 segments, and counting from the butt plate, the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th hinge segments are on the cover. The end segments are a bit shorter than the others.
Click the picture and it should enlarge.
