I use cigar tubes with the rounded end cut off and replaced with a fitted wine cork.

Note slender container showing ball and cards coming out of it in last pic. This is a cigar tube like someone mentioned above. I left the round end on it because a .600 ball sits there perfectly. The tube is loaded so that the wads and balls come out in the order they are needed. I don't really use it anymore, but, it did work well.

I usually get my tins, both the rectangular ones shown and some round ones, from Specialty Bottle Inc.

I use an Altoids tin and carry a few hanging from my bag for less fumbling in the field
