Relic Spike Tomahawk

Relic French and Indian war to Rev War period spike tomahawk I recently picked up, it was found in upstate New York in the 1920ís. Itís 5 3/4Ē long.

Super find there Frank!  I remember reading a story about Daniel Boone losing his hawk while crossing some river somewhere.  Had that story been a bit more detailed as to location, I'd of taken a long holiday doing some magnet fishing!   ;D

Actually the rust seems to be pretty stable Rob, so Iíll leave it alone. I think it was probably found in the 20ís or 30ís so itís held up well.

Iím a relic hunter and Iíve found a lot of artifacts over the years, but Iíve never found a tomahawk. Finding one would definitely make my day. Apparently this one was eyeballed in a field, no metal detector involved.
