Relic French and Indian war to Rev War period spike tomahawk I recently picked up, it was found in upstate New York in the 1920’s. It’s 5 3/4” long.

Fullstock Longrifle. I would like to see my face in a mirror if I was the person to find that Wonderfull piece of history. I find the size when scaled to size most appealing. :) Have a great week. AJ.

Super find there Frank!  I remember reading a story about Daniel Boone losing his hawk while crossing some river somewhere.  Had that story been a bit more detailed as to location, I'd of taken a long holiday doing some magnet fishing!   ;D

Wow, cool discovery.  Top pocket find for sure.  Id like to see one of our talented smiths copy that.

Will you stabilize the rust?  Congratulations on a great acquisition!
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Actually the rust seems to be pretty stable Rob, so I’ll leave it alone. I think it was probably found in the 20’s or 30’s so it’s held up well.

Pretty Cool!  That's a nice find Frank. It's always fun to add things from the past like that to a collection.

I’m a relic hunter and I’ve found a lot of artifacts over the years, but I’ve never found a tomahawk. Finding one would definitely make my day. Apparently this one was eyeballed in a field, no metal detector involved.
