Early round wood powder flask interpretation

The Germanic round wooden flasks are beautiful and often quite artistic. Mine is a primer made of Turkish walnut, cow horn, Dall sheep horn string inlays and German silver.
I'd like to make a full sized one but this will have to do for now.
Here are a couple antiques that are eye catching.

That really shines Dennis.
The bottom antique is quite impressive.

These round flasks are also pretty common in Russian culture. The Russian fur trade fort at Ft. Ross on the California coast displays some of these flasks.

That is amazing. Just gorgeous. Perfect for a weskit pocket for carrying a pistol or day hunt.

A round flask is on my list of things to make, but I doubt I can make it as nice as yours!!
