Interesting mash up. I wonder where the barrel came from. Was it made by the gunsmith who did the conversion, or repurposed from another pistol. It looks English, but the English did not typically make rifled pistol barrels.Mike
I am likely wrong, but I see it as an 1816 Martial pistol converted to cap-lock and the .45cal. rifled barrel put on in place of the original .54 smoothbore.

The barrel band also had the front portion removed and the top formed to the barrel shape. The Wickham spring is still visible in front of the band.
