Barrel maker information
« on: May 15, 2022, 04:50:23 AM »
Looking for information on a barrel. I have a fowler/ trade gun barrel. It is octagon to octagon to round. With the second octagon half the size of the first. It has two wedding bands on it. It is 20 gauge, 42 inches long with no markings what
so ever. Breach is 3/4-16
Anyone with any serious comments to who might have made it   TIA. Oldtravler

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

They're not marked that I know of. I've used one before. It shot great. I wanna say it was a little tight...like .610 or so.
