Little turn of the century pouch

New pouch completed. This simple, single pocket D-shape bag is 8"x6". The D rings are forged by John Rader and the strap woven by Pam Hutton, which i aged to give the bag a more used look. I used turned and welted construction with waxed linen thread and 3/4oz vegtan. This bag was loosely inspired by a pouch from madison grants book dated to the late 18th/early 19th century.  (The knotted side of the strap will be sewn to the ring when a final stap length is decided

I like it. Good looking, well made and functional, everything you need to carry a days worth of hunting supplies, give or take according to caliber. I also will add that the strap really compliments the bag so whatever aging you did to it was a great choice.
