Nipple thread size?

I want to replace the nipple on my Uberti Santa Fe Hawken. Its one of the .53 calibers. Can any other U berti Hawken owners tell me the thread size or what nipples work for them? Thanks in advance!

Taylor would know, but he's busy getting ready for our local rendezvous. Sry, I can't help.
That barrel (part of one) is what I used for my pistol. A VERY accurate pistol if fed enough powder.

Seems the time to pick up a inch/metric thread gage. No guessing then, and assuming you have a micrometer also.

Probably an M6 by who knows what thread.If that breech/bolster isn't hardened I would rethread it to the American 1/4x28 or find some one who has had experience in threading.If the thread is now .236 the .250 tap will clean it up. One millimeter is ,0394.

I have one of these Hawkens and it is threaded for 1/4x28.

 I haven't had much time lately to  even do much anything besides work. Hope I can get back to it after Friday!  I'm much obliged for all the responses, thanks guys.

I have one and think it’s 1/4-28. Take it and try on some known nuts if in doubt
