Man - that guy can make anything!  That Hudson Valley gun really has a great look to it.

This is the first gun by his hand that I have seen, but I've always been amazed at his knives, axes, furniture...you name it.  It's fun to see the work of someone with so much talent - some people truly have a gift as well as lots of study and practice.  His eye for design and finish are great, and the craftsmanship is just first rate.   Nice guy too.

I've been following his work for a good while now and he is amazingly talented in many disciplines. It is heartening to see people with this level of talent still around and new people still coming forth every so often. Gives one a bit of faith in the future in these troubed times.

Ken has more time to work on these things now that he retired. I've never seen any axes by Ken. I'm sure he could make a wonderful piece but he's been buying pipe axes from me for several years. He had a fowler at the CLA that he forged all the hardware for it. It was as nice as the Hudson minus the aging.

Steve, just go back to the first post in this forum, and click on the link to the blog.  Then save it as a bookmark, for future trips there.  You'll use it a lot.
