Plains Rifle by Ed Thomas
« on: August 24, 2022, 05:24:38 AM »
Hello again. Well I acquired a .45 cal Plains Rifle made by Ed Thomas of Tennessee. I purchased it from a member here in 2017? The rifle came from his estate. How many rifles did Ed  build, anyone know?

 8) 8)... Ed was an excellent gun builder and really knew the correct style of guns,... He worked with Robin Hale in organizing the beginning of the Knoxville TN-KY rifle show and later with Buford Blanton,...     he died too young,... usually some of his rifles are displayed at the Knoxville show,... great rifle ... fortunate to own it,.. !!! ... regards,.. CCF ... (ALSO,... go to the search box in the upper right of this forum page,...type in, "Ed Thomas",... will take you to Art Riser's CLA blog,... when it pops up,.. type in "Ed Thomas in the search box in upper left,... a lot of Ed's work on there,... scroll away,... !!! )
