Kibler SMR ketland lock question

I took apart my lock after watching Jim’s video. I took pictures. While punching out the main assembly after removing the cock. I lost the fly  :'( , however I bought a new one  and have it on the bench. I’m not sure how to position it. My pictures are not showing me enough information. Does some have a detailed breakdown of this lock that will show me proper installation? Please!

I don’t have a lock handy right this minute, but will take one off my rifle.  I keep a magnet in a container to keep the parts from getting lost, the fly goes to magnet as soon as it comes off.  I lost one fly years ago, that’s how I keep from losing another.

I bought a magnetic parts dish from harbor freight today for that very purpose. A lesson hard learned is one well learned.

Without taking the lock apart, it looks like there are two flats @ the bottom, the longer one is toward the front of the lock.  After assembly but before installing mainspring, you can operate the lock, if installed correctly the sear should easily go over the fly without catching the halfcock notch without much much lift.  Hopefully this helps.

On the side of the tumbler that is against the lock plate you will see a recess with a little hole at the top. Simply insert the pin of the fly into that hole. When the tumbler is reinstalled with the cock on the tumbler shaft, the fly will be held in place and can not fall out. You can't really install it incorrectly. Function test the lock after it's fully assembled to make sure the sear engages and disengages correctly. I doubt it will need tuning.
