Playing around.
« on: September 05, 2022, 06:10:47 PM »
So my uncle gave my son this little cut down cva Kentucky .45. thought it would be fun to play around and practice with. Since it's cut down and the barrel shortened I may put a plains rifle nosecap on an underbarrel rib and make a mini plains rifle type gun for him to plink with. Might be good practice anyway.

The front site blade is about a mile too high. You might want to reduce that quite a bit and rework those sites.  Just offering some help.

I like it!  Might try some faux striping on the stock like Lehman.

I know it's just rough fit right now. It will be taken down quite a bit at the range then polished.

Just need to oil the stock and brown the barrel. Messed up trying to tap the barrel rib so just soldered it on instead.
