Most of the members and viewers of this site and forum are well aware of its educational goals and purposes. As a reminder, the Library section now is a repository of several fine personally researched subjects: The North Carolina Schools of Gunsmithing by Michael Briggs and 2 essays on Central Pennsylvania gunsmithing by Wayne Heckert. Also the Library section contains many links to many of the education forums and discussions that have occurred on this site. We encourage others to follow their examples.
We are making these requests to the viewers:
1. Initiate new subject inquiries or questions that would enhance the Library, particularly subjects having a broad appeal to the students of Kentucky Longrifles. Post them and we will link them in.
2. Consider posting "essays" or treatises" of previously unpublished information you have researched.
3. Offering your "replies" that enhance the body of knowledge already published or known on the subject.
4. Send us photos of your guns ( email them to: parifles@earthlink.net) with the details you know of them and their measurements.
