I have one about 85% done.  Fancy little rifle in 28 cal with a ball mold.  Not inside the budget you named, however.  It's going to be $3,750  Can take payments.
It's got a fancy patch box, very nice wood, and will be fully carved when it's done.  Here are some pics of it so far. I also have made and inlet an inlay of a running rabbit in the cheek plate, but that was after I took these pictures.

This little rifle is very light at only 5 pounds and 13 Oz.
The work is on-going so if you are interested let me know and I can take more current pictures and send them to your personal e-mail address.

I'll be working on a .32 Lancaster rifle over the next few months. 38" Rice swamped barrel,  brass furniture, patchbox, large Siler lock, some carving and engraving.
It'll be under $3,000

I have an original Penn percussion 32 caliber in very good condition including the bore. Built by Penn Rifle Works between 1837 & 1858. DS triggers and a 46.5 inch barrel. Asking $1000 plus shipping. Can send pics if interested.
