Mony, the bore is 40 caliber and I used a small Dichburn lock, the rifle overall is about 2/3 size of a full sized Armstrong.

She’s 5’2” Mony. She’ll never get to shoot it, she has health issues that will keep her from doing that, but I still wanted her to have it. She loves it and that makes me happy. 😊

This may be a novice question, but I would like to know about your wood finishing. There almost appears to be a textured surface on the wood, or not completely smooth, that may be part of the grain. I'm not sure if that is an artifact of the picture or if it does have a texture. It is very beautiful.
