Progress so far…..trying to get an early style flinter out of this:  Colerain A wt.  .45 cal , 38 in. Swamped barrel,  chambers early style lock, grade 3 maple from Dunlop’s.   Early style iron hardware that’s been sitting in my parts box for ? Years. Trigger pinned in wood. Will get around to making a trigger plate sometime maybe. Will finish with LMF, but not sure which.   Will be a darker shade for sure.    No shiney stuff on it……..Kentucky trapper says I willl put shiny stuff in it because I have a thing for the “bling lady” but I don’t want the squirrels to see me coming.
