William Clark's Brown Bess

This is at the Missouri History Museum. I was short on time and my camera phone is poor.

William Clark's Brown Bess is the bottom rifle.

Thanks for posting!  I will have to go see that next time I am in St. Louis.  Were there many other guns?

Did you happen to get a shot of the powder horn mentioned on the sign?
Thanks,

The museum has  pretty good on-line collections, with LOTS of various horns

You're welcome! There were a few but not many. As was mentioned by Longknife, their archives contain quite a few. The ones they had on display I didn't get pictures of were a few trade guns.

I thought I had but apparently not. It was a very very plain horn.
