Even Powder Horns Get The Blues Sometime
« on: December 20, 2022, 11:30:45 PM »
Latest project completion.  The blue factor was inspired by a horn in Madison Grant's powder horn book.

The horn is 11.5" on the outside curve.  Cherry plug (2.5" x 2.25") adds another .5" to the overall length.  Pine stopper on the other end.  The neck received a coat of Old Fashioned Milk Paint that was then heavily rubbed back with brown grocery bag paper.  Everything then topped off with a coat of wax.

Enjoy,
Kevin
