Scrap box measure
« on: December 23, 2022, 03:45:27 AM »
How many measures does anyone really need? Oh, just one more. 55 grain min, 85 max, 70 on the black line. Elk antler and Bois d’Arc.

One was fun to make; anything after that probably not so much.

Nice looking measure.  Love it.

Very nice, but is this an indication of earlier-than-usual 'cabin-fever' in some parts?  I understand completely!  ;D

I like it.  Does it attach to the shooting bag somehow?

Yes, to the inside bottom of the bag through strong gravitational pull. ;)

I like it because it is very unique.  Nicely done.  Not the sos.

Good idea for the screw system, Dennis.

Good idea for the screw system, Dennis.
Daryl,
Like so many things this is an adaptation of someone else’s idea. The insert is 1/4-28 outside and 10-32 on the inside and should be durable enough for the task. I don’t think the antler and horn ring would have lasted long on their own if threaded for the screw.
