New Charlie Brown bag

I had Charlie Brown in North Carolina create me a bag for my new Smoothbore (see it under the Contemporary Long Rifles header "Don Bruton's Latest and Greatest"). I had Charlie make it larger than he normally does as I am going to use it for patched round ball, buck-and-ball, and bird shot. So I wanted one I could carry everything I need in for a days shooting from game, feather, fowl or attack by the unfriendliest. It measures about 8 inches wide at the base and 11 inches deep with a large internal pouch for balls and other accoutrements.
As always Charlie bark tans his hides himself and either hand stiches the bag or in this case you might notice the strap is attached to the bag with real deer sinew. His buckles are hand forged and finally on this one I had him attach a patch knife made from an old straight razor. The powder measure is of cane, the short starter is Mule deer antler, and the priming horn is from my good friend Tim Crosby.
Sorry the last photo is of another Charlie Brown bag I had him make, but ver similar is size and construction for long hunts with my .54 caliber rifle for deer, elk, bear and hog.

Say, that's a dandy set up.
Looks like it will do the job.
Thanks for sharing.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
