looks very well done.  Could you give that some context?  Is it a work in progress by Frank, photos fo an old build, or a build class gun?

I sure do admire Frank's work.  He's one of those guys that I ask myself "what would Frank think about this".   Thanks for posting.

It's a Kibler smr kit rifle. I think he said it was for a movie prop. The box is similar to one from a maker in Tennessee but don't remember which one Frank said.

Here's a photo of the original that I saved. I don't know where it came from, but it was either on this site or the contemporary makers blog. It's not my photo, and I didn't attend whatever show it was at. I just liked the patchbox so I saved the photo.

Not really fond of metal patch boxes, but I really like that one. Definitely out of the box thinking. I like Frank's lid proportions better than the original.
