For those who may be interested in, here a close up of the proof marks (blackpowder proof, Suhl proof house). No legal shooting in Germany without them.

Again, thank you all for your kind comments. I feel honored.
Just finished the last details on the rifle.
I filed the front sight flush with the barrel and made a sling from a canvas belt and some leather I had laying around.

Really nice work, Christian. Does your Jaeger produce the required joules for hunting Chamois, deer or boar?

I'm not sure about the muzzle energy it produces and I don't care much about it because I live in Germany and it is nearly impossible here to hunt legally with a muzzleloder. So I'm restricted to target shooting or reenactment.

Indeed I enjoy shooting it. Unfortunately just at paper targets. As I wrote previousely it's nearly impossible here in Germany to hunt with a muzzleloader legally.
