First try at a bag.

Made my son a bag to go with his T/C hawken. My first time doing this large of a project.

For a first bag, your stitching is very good and straight.  Style and shape is also nice.  You could lose the shag carpet off the flap and just have a nice leather flap but if that's what you like, that's fine too.  I did one with a muskrat fur flap early on and was never happy with that look.

 Strive to learn from others and look at all the pictures you can find and keep on stitching.  You'll find the more you make, you'll begin to fine tune various aspects.  You are off to a good start!

Turned out to be 7 and 3/4 at the bottom widest part. And 6 and 1/4 tall.
