I just bought a 75 cal barrel from Ed Rayle.  I'll bet it would work for it.
Anyone know for sure?

Yes, as Bigmon says, or even a musket (10 or 11 bore) and paper cartridges.

.735 to .745" for a .75 rifled barrel.
.735 works well in a 10 bore smoothbore when using heavy (thick) patches.

Frequently used in 75 caliber Brown Bess musket shooting.  The BAR (Brigade of the Revolution) has a method of using Aluminum foil cartridges with the .735 round ball encased in the foil dipped in beeswax.  Works very well and I have been using this setup for over fifty years....

I used that mould to cast balls for my 77 cal. (10 bore) Long Land Pattern Brown Bess, using .033 denim patches and 100 gr. FFg GOEX.  It loaded easily with the 3/8" hickory ramrod all day long without cleaning, and won me lots of honours in competition.

I use a .735 ball in my Chambers 10 bore New England fowling gun.
