That would be Leonard Meadows of Shady Springs, WV. He was building guns back in the 50s. Unfortunately, he died, I believe in the late 70s. As a matter of fact, the last gun he was working on when he died, a halfstock Hawken, was brought to me to finish. That was around 2015. The owner had it laying around unfinished all those years. I've examined several of Meadow's rifles. They are all nicely done, especially for the timeframe in which he built them.
