Curt J:
I owned a very nice J. O. Robson rifle a few years ago.  He was among the better New York State makers.  It is now 11:25 PM here and I need to get to bed, but I have more information on Robson.  I'll try to get back with it soon.

410-er:
Turns out to be a VERY heavy barreled 41 cal. percussion that was missing some screws and a crack.Barrel was octigon and about 1 1/2" from end it was round.Probably if you went across the flats it would have been 1 1/4".Brought $975 :o Thanks for the help guys!
