The Wilkinson books have survived.  You may be able to obtain a copy of the page on which this gun was entered.  The identity of the purchaser may be recorded, as well as the names of the primary workers who built the gun.
In the case of my Wilkinson, a 16ga flint single, it was entered in September 1822.  Unfortunately the purchaser was not recorded; perhaps sold over the counter in their Pall Mall shop.

Yessir, that is surely sweet.
Only way I can think of its being better is if the bores were bigger.  But that's just me.
