 Looks like it has been cleaned up, as rough as the rest looks the nice round hole makes me wonder...
 I do like the teeth marks on the stopper. Neat horn.

good eye on the teeth marks.  The screw in the body of the horn has a well worn slot.  Seems like an odd place and item for that position on the horn.

 Looks like an early twentieth century blowing horn roughly converted to a powder horn.

I was told it came out of Missouri. My step-dad got it in the 60’s sometime. I’m sure he cleaned it and replaced The strap. Thanks everyone.
